Clash Erupts In Delhi’s Seelampur As BJP Alleges Burqa-Clad Women Cast ‘Fake’ Votes

A clash erupted at a polling booth in Seelampur on election day in Delhi after the Bharatiya Janata Party alleged that some burqa-clad women cast “fake” votes in the ongoing Assembly polls. Some of the female voters claimed that someone else had already cast votes on their behalf, sparking massive uproar.
Following this the Delhi Police personnel began thorough checking to ensure that bogus voting does not take place.
BJP alleged that the AAP brought in women from outside to get ‘fake’ voting done on the Seelampur seat. Workers from the parties began sloganeering and got into a clash after the allegations were made.
A BJP worker alleged that men and women were sent by AAP, who had disguised themselves in mask and burqas, and voted instead of actual voters. Some of the voters showed their voter ids and fingers, claiming that they were told to leave and not allowed to vote as someone had already cast ballots in their names.
