BREAKING: ITBP Bus Plunges Into J&K’s Sindh River; Search Underway For Personnel, Missing Weapons

A joint search and rescue operation is currently underway in the Kullan area of Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir, after a bus carrying Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) jawans veered off the Kullan bridge and plunged into the River Sindh. The incident occurred today, Wednesday.
Teams from SDRF Ganderbal and SDRF Sub Component Gund have launched a comprehensive operation to locate any missing personnel and recover equipment. Authorities have confirmed that some weapons from the bus are currently unaccounted for. So far, three weapons have been successfully recovered from the river.
The full extent of casualties, if any, among the ITBP personnel aboard the bus is yet to be confirmed as the rescue efforts continue. Further details are awaited as the operation progresses in the challenging riverine terrain.
