A doctor was shot dead inside Nima Hospital, Jaitpur under the Kalindi Kunj police station area, police said on Thursday. CCTV footage was being examined to identify the accused, they added. As per hospital staff, two men had come to the hospital with an injury, after dressing they had demanded to meet the doctor and shot him dead once they entered his cabin, police added.
This incident comes a month after a man was shot dead outside a gym in south Delhi’s Greater Kailash. The shooter had fired 11 bullets at the man. The victim died in hospital on Thursday. The shooter conducted surveillance for about an hour before committing the murder. They lingered around the gym, and as soon as they got the opportunity, they killed the man.
