In 2017, hear.com’s founder, Dr. Marco Vietor, introduced Piyush Jain to the latest German hearing aid technology: The Signia X. The top engineers from Signia (formerly Siemens) had spent years of research and development coming up with a device that has the most advanced technology in a design so small, it disappeared completely behind or inside the ear!
When Dr. Vietor asked Piyush Jain to bring this technology to the Indian market, Piyush was hesitant at first: He knew that his own mother had a hearing loss but did not want to wear hearing aids, because she thought that they were too big, looked ugly and would make her look old.
